QC Inspector - Painting
We are looking for a qualified QC Inspector – Painting to ensure that all painting and coating activities are performed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements. The role involves inspection, testing, and documentation of coating works, particularly for tanks and related assets.
- Inspect all surface preparation and painting activities to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
- Monitor coating application, thickness, and curing processes
- Conduct and witness inspections such as DFT, surface profile, and adhesion tests
- Ensure proper documentation of inspection reports and quality records
- Raise and follow up on inspection requests (RFI) with client/consultant
- Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Coordinate with site teams to ensure quality requirements are met
- Verify materials and ensure compliance with approved specifications
- Ensure adherence to HSE and quality standards at all times
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in painting/coating inspection
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation, coating systems, and inspection methods
- Familiarity with international standards (e.g., ASTM, SSPC, ISO)
- Good reporting and documentation skills
Preferred
- ADNOC approval is required
- Experience in tank painting/coating projects
- Certification in painting inspection (e.g., NACE, BGAS, or equivalent)
- Arabic speaking is an advantage
