Planning & Development Manager
We are seeking a Planning & Development Manager who will Lead the integrated planning process across the organization (short, medium and long term), and coordinate and deliver strategic exercises (budget, long-term plan, investment cases)
- Lead integrated planning, development studies, and economic evaluations.
- Support investment decisions and long-term business strategy.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders.
- Manage short-, medium-, and long-term planning processes.
- Deliver strategic exercises, budgets, and investment cases.
- Ensure alignment of development studies with standards and objectives.
- Support technical and economic evaluations for projects and assets.
- Represent the company with partners and authorities.
- Monitor performance, costs, planning, and environmental indicators.
- Lead team development and capability building.
- Ensure HSE compliance and confidentiality of strategic information.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- 15–20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with strong technical expertise.
- Strong knowledge of field development, reservoirs, projects, and economics.
- Experience in integrated planning and strategic decision-making.
- Ability to influence investment and development strategies.
- Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive alignment.
- Strategic thinking and strong decision-making capabilities.
- Experience with international standards and multinational organizations.
- Ability to operate effectively in multicultural environments.
- Fluent in English and Arabic (mandatory); French is an advantage.
