Mechanical Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor specializing in Air-Cooled Chillers, District / Temporary Cooling Plants, and Operations & Maintenance (O&M). The successful candidate will oversee site operations, preventive and breakdown maintenance, routine inspections, and the reliable running of temporary and permanent cooling installations across key projects in Saudi Arabia.
- O&M Supervision: Lead daily operations and preventive maintenance (PM) programs for temporary cooling plants, air-cooled chillers, chilled water pumps, AHUs, FCUs, and heat exchangers.
- Plant Operation & Monitoring: Monitor system performance, pressure differentials, fluid temperatures, and refrigerant levels to ensure optimal energy efficiency and cooling output.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Perform swift root-cause analysis and execute corrective actions for mechanical failures, compressor trips, pipe leaks, and control valve malfunctions.
- Preventive Maintenance Scheduling: Plan, execute, and document scheduled weekly/monthly servicing routines (coil cleaning, oil/filter replacement, electrical checkups).
- Team & Site Leadership: Supervise on-site technicians and mechanics, ensuring strict adherence to work permits (PTW), HSE guidelines, and client safety standards.
- Reporting & Logs: Maintain accurate daily operational logs, maintenance records, equipment health reports, and spare parts inventory.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / HVAC.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in O&M and maintenance of Air-Cooled Chillers, District Cooling, or Temporary/Rental Cooling Plants.
- Location: Currently based in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Strong working knowledge of refrigerant cycles, electrical-mechanical interfaces, chilled water pumps, and automated plant controls.
