Supervisor - Lifting

Lifting Operations

• Supervise all lifting and rigging operations on site.
• Prepare and review lifting plans, and ensure lifts are carried out safely.
• Conduct pre-lift briefings and toolbox talks with the lifting team.
• Coordinate lifting activities with project, construction, and operations teams.

Crew Management

• Manage and coordinate riggers, signalmen, and crane operators.
• Allocate tasks and ensure the crew works to approved lifting plans and procedures.
• Monitor crew performance and provide on-site guidance and coaching.

Equipment & Inspection

• Inspect lifting equipment and ensure valid certification and tagging.
• Verify cranes, slings, shackles, and other lifting gear are fit for use before each lift.
• Remove defective or uncertified equipment from service and report it promptly.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with client, HSE, and project requirements.
• Enforce safe work practices, permit-to-work conditions, and exclusion zones during lifts.
• Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and support investigations.
• Maintain accurate lifting records, inspection logs, and documentation.

Requirements

• Valid ADNOC Lifting Supervisor approval (mandatory).
• 3 to 5 years of experience in lifting operations, including 1 to 2 years as a supervisor.
• Good knowledge of lifting plans, load charts, and rigging practices.
• Strong commitment to safety and good communication skills.
