Senior Project Engineer - Iraqi Leadership

• Define and develop industrial facilities and project scopes aligned with business and operational requirements.
• Lead or support feasibility studies, technical assessments, preliminary budgets, and project schedules.
• Coordinate project activities across Operations, General Services, IT, Finance, and C&P.
• Support the full project lifecycle from need definition and design through authorization, execution, and handover.
• Identify opportunities for optimization, simplification, and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, company, and HSE requirements.
• Provide technical support for tendering and contract management activities.
• Monitor project progress, costs, risks, quality, and deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and junior contributors.
• Support management in interactions with contractors, partners, and stakeholders.
• Promote safe engineering practices, risk prevention, and environmental performance.
• Ensure confidentiality of technical, contractual, financial, and project-related information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent field.
• 15+ years of experience in industrial projects, engineering, or project delivery.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Infrastructure, or large-scale industrial environments strongly preferred.
• Strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, execution, cost control, and risk management.
• Solid knowledge of engineering design, technical specifications, and construction interfaces.
• Good understanding of contract and procurement processes related to project delivery.
• Ability to assess technical, economic, and environmental project feasibility.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and multidisciplinary team coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with practical execution capability.
• High level of autonomy, rigor, accountability, and adaptability.
• Experience in international or multinational project environments, including cross-border teams and contractors.
• Middle East or Iraq project experience is a strong advantage.
• Fluent English and Arabic (mandatory); French is an advantage.
