Quality Control Inspector - Mechanical

We are seeking a qualified Quality Control Inspector – Mechanical to join our project team for District Cooling Plant (DCP) projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in mechanical inspection activities related to cooling towers, chilled water systems, piping, and associated plant equipment.

The role requires thorough knowledge of QA/QC procedures, welding inspection, NDT coordination, and compliance with project specifications, FEED documentation, and international standards to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality district energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections for DCP and Cooling Tower works.
• Conduct and witness welding inspections and NDT activities.
• Review and verify ITPs, WPS, PQR, and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and FEED requirements.
• Coordinate with third-party inspection bodies and client representatives.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain QA/QC documentation.
• Monitor site execution to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Identify non-conformities and support corrective actions.

Requirements

• Valid ASNT Level II (NDT Level 2) certification.
• CSWIP / CWI certification (preferred).
• Experience in Cooling Tower and District Cooling Plant (DCP) projects.
• Strong knowledge of FEED documentation and quality procedures.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in mechanical QA/QC within EPC projects.
• Familiar with relevant codes such as ASME, AWS, and related standards.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.
