Project Manager / Construction Manager – Oil & Gas
We are seeking a Project Manager / Construction Manager to lead Oil & Gas EPC construction projects, the position requires a hands-on construction leader capable of managing site teams, subcontractors, construction schedules, resources, quality and HSE while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and in accordance with approved engineering specifications and client requirements.
- Lead the execution of Oil & Gas EPC and construction projects from mobilization through completion and handover.
- Manage site construction, erection and installation activities across mechanical, piping, civil, structural, E&I and related disciplines.
- Oversee construction of storage tanks, LPG facilities, pressure vessels, process equipment, piping, pipelines and structural works.
- Manage subcontractors, construction teams, manpower, equipment and site resources.
- Monitor project progress, construction schedules, productivity and milestones, implementing recovery actions where required.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, HSE, Planning and Commissioning teams.
- Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs and applicable codes and standards.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, hydrotesting, pre-commissioning, commissioning and final handover.
- Maintain strict compliance with project HSE requirements and ensure safe execution of all site activities.
- Manage construction-related technical issues, RFIs, variations, punch lists and close-out activities.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or relevant Engineering discipline.
- Strong experience in Oil & Gas EPC, construction and site execution.
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction and erection activities.
- Strong experience in subcontractor and multidisciplinary construction team management.
- Good knowledge of construction methodologies, QA/QC, HSE, testing and commissioning.
- UAE/GCC Oil & Gas construction experience is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and project coordination skills.
