PTW Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced PTW (Permit to Work) Coordinator with valid ADNOC Approval / WMS Certification to manage and coordinate all Permit-to-Work activities for oil & gas projects in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with ADNOC PTW procedures, HSE requirements, and project safety standards while coordinating with Operations, Construction, Maintenance, and HSE teams.
- Manage the issuance, monitoring, suspension, and closure of work permits in accordance with ADNOC PTW procedures.
- Review and verify PTW documents including Method Statements, Risk Assessments, JSA, FRA, and Isolation Certificates before permit issuance.
- Coordinate with Operations, HSE, Construction, and Contractor teams to ensure safe execution of work activities.
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with permit conditions and ADNOC safety requirements.
- Monitor simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) and identify potential work conflicts.
- Maintain accurate PTW records, logs, and reports.
- Ensure permits are displayed at work locations and work is executed within approved permit conditions.
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and daily coordination meetings.
- Support audits, incident investigations, and safety improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC Work Management System (WMS) requirements and HSE regulations.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Mandatory ADNOC Approval / Valid ADNOC WMS PTW Certification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as PTW Coordinator, Permit Issuer, or PTW Controller in Oil & Gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of ADNOC PTW procedures, WMS, JSA, FRA, SIMOPS, and HSE requirements.
- Experience in shutdown, turnaround, maintenance, or construction projects is preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- UAE/GCC experience preferred.
