Senior Electrical Engineer

• Lead and manage day-to-day electrical engineering activities on projects
• Coordinate with Project Manager, clients, and internal teams to achieve project objectives
• Review and prepare design drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
• Prepare and manage material requisitions and manpower plans
• Develop method statements and ensure safe execution of works
• Raise and follow up on inspection requests (RFI) and ensure successful approvals
• Monitor progress through 2-week look-ahead plans and ensure timely execution
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and support testing and commissioning activities
• Supervise technicians and coordinate with site teams and subcontractors
• Participate in meetings to report progress, resolve issues, and coordinate activities
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation, and testing
• Experience in design review, shop drawings, and site execution
• Familiarity with engineering software and design tools
• Good understanding of safety standards and quality requirements
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred

• Arabic speaking is an advantage
• Experience in project-based or construction environments
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management experience
