Drilling & Completion Manager Iraqi Leadership
We are seeing a Drilling & Completion Manager that will ensure strict compliance with HSE standards, well control and process safety requirements, and to manage highly sensitive technical and operational information related to drilling programs and contracts.
Define and lead drilling, completion, and well intervention strategies.
Oversee multi-rig drilling and well operations.
Ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective well delivery.
Manage well integrity and operational risks.
Lead drilling contracts and supplier management.
Manage budgets, forecasts, and DrillEx performance.
Align drilling activities with project schedules.
Drive technical governance and performance improvement.
Represent the company with partners, authorities, and headquarters.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in drilling and well operations.
- Strong expertise in drilling, completions, and well integrity.
- Proven experience managing multi-rig operations and complex well programs.
- In-depth knowledge of risk management and well control practices.
- Strong executive leadership, strategic decision-making, and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in complex, high-risk environments.
- Experience working on large-scale international oil and gas projects.
- Exposure to multicultural, high-performance work environments.
- Fluent in English and Arabic (mandatory); proficiency in French is an advantage.
