We are seeking a Contract Administrator to join our KSA project team. You will manage the contract lifecycle on our construction and EPC projects, ensuring terms compliance and protecting commercial interests. The role requires hands-on experience in drafting correspondence, managing variations, assessing EOTs, and compiling claims. You will coordinate with project managers, procurement, and clients to support successful delivery.
1. Claims, Variations & EOT Management
Claims Administration: Assist in identifying, drafting, and managing commercial claims and counter-claims; compile supporting documentation to resolve disputes.
Variation Orders: Evaluate scope changes and site instructions. Quantify financial and time impacts, prepare variation packages, and track approvals.
Extension of Time (EOT): Collaborate with planning engineers to review delay analyses and draft robust EOT claims.
2. Contract Drafting & Commercial Review
Drafting: Draft clear subcontractor agreements, bespoke amendments, work orders, and formal commercial letters to clients and vendors.
Risk Assessment: Review contract documents (particularly FIDIC or bespoke formats) to identify potential commercial risks and liabilities.
3. Site Contract Administration
Subcontract Management: Administer subcontract agreements, monitor progress, evaluate payment applications, and manage back-charges.
Compliance & Close-Out: Ensure all commercial activities comply with project procedures and client requirements. Oversee final accounts and the contract close-out process.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering or construction contract management.
Key Skills: Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, EOT claims, variation orders, and contractual letter drafting. Solid analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
