Civil Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and control civil construction works in accordance with contract requirements, project specifications, approved drawings, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and work packs.
• Oversee site preparation, clearing, earthworks, excavation, leveling, compaction, foundations, concrete structures, platforms, drainage systems, culverts, and access roads.
• Supervise the construction of well pad foundations, equipment foundations, pits, trenches, and associated infrastructure.
• Directly supervise civil subcontractors, foremen, and construction crews to ensure efficient execution of site activities.
• Ensure compliance with H3SE requirements and promote a strong health, safety, and environmental culture on site.
• Participate in toolbox talks, HSE walks, site inspections, and incident investigations, stopping unsafe work whenever necessary.
• Coordinate with the Well Pad Construction Lead, Piping Supervisors, E&I Supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure proper construction sequencing and effective management of interfaces.
• Monitor daily construction progress, identify deviations from project schedules, and report delays or execution constraints to the relevant construction lead.
• Ensure construction quality requirements are met, including material compliance, workmanship, and dimensional tolerances.
• Coordinate with quality and inspection teams to conduct civil inspections, manage inspection hold points, and close punch list items.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and site reinstatement following completion of civil works.
• Identify and promptly report technical issues, HSE concerns, quality deviations, and schedule risks.
• Ensure civil construction activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved technical documentation and project requirements.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar civil construction supervisory position.
• Strong experience in civil works for oil and gas facilities and well pads.
• Good knowledge of earthworks, excavation, concrete works, foundations, drainage systems, and access roads.
• Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and ITPs.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and coordination between civil, drilling, piping, and E&I activities.
• Experience supervising civil subcontractors, foremen, and construction crews.
• Good knowledge of construction quality requirements and H3SE standards.
• Strong field awareness, a proactive safety mindset, and the ability to work under challenging site conditions.
• Good working knowledge of English, both spoken and written; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work on a rotational schedule of four weeks on and four weeks off.
