Business Excellence Associate Principal

We are seeking a Business Excellence Associate Principal to lead the organization's performance-management and process-governance practices, covering corporate and departmental KPIs and the enterprise Process Library. The role will serve as the governance gateway for all new or updated procedures and processes before their controlled publication in SharePoint.

KPI Framework & Performance Management

  • Own and administer the organization's KPI framework, including KPI definitions, calculation methods, data sources, targets, owners, reporting frequency, and approval requirements.
  • Coordinate the annual KPI-setting and target-cascading cycle, ensuring that corporate, departmental, and individual measures align with strategic objectives.
  • Monitor KPI performance, validate reported results, analyze trends and variances, and prepare clear performance dashboards and management reports.
  • Facilitate performance-review meetings and follow up with KPI owners on corrective actions, recovery plans, and improvement opportunities.

Process Library & Governance

  • Own and administer the enterprise Process Library and act as the mandatory governance gateway for all new, revised, or updated procedures, process maps, work instructions, forms, and related controlled documents.
  • Develop and maintain the standards, templates, naming conventions, metadata, version-control rules, review requirements, and publication criteria that departments must follow.
  • Review every submitted procedure and process for clarity, completeness, consistency, control design, efficiency, duplication, and compliance with approved documentation and governance standards.
  • Verify that the required departmental and designated-authority approvals have been obtained, all review comments have been resolved, and the final document is ready for controlled publication.
  • Authorize the release of approved new or updated versions into the Process Library and coordinate their controlled publication in SharePoint.
  • Return incomplete or non-compliant submissions to the responsible department for correction.
  • Maintain the master version record, publication evidence, review history, effective dates, and superseded-document status, ensuring that only the current approved version is available in SharePoint.

Advisory & Capability Building

  • Advise and support departmental process owners as they draft or update their processes and procedures, while ensuring that accountability for content accuracy, approval, implementation, and ongoing operation remains with the relevant department.
  • Provide consultation and constructive recommendations to departments on process design, simplification, automation, standardization, and measurable improvement opportunities.
  • Benchmark recognized best practices, standards, and peer approaches, and use the findings to guide departments without assuming responsibility for writing or operating their procedures.
  • Build departmental capability through guidance, workshops, awareness sessions, templates, and coaching for KPI and process owners.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in business excellence, performance management, quality management, process improvement, or a related area.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Excellence, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of KPI frameworks, performance measurement, process mapping, process governance, and controlled documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze performance and process data, identify root causes, and translate findings into practical improvements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with performance dashboards, process-mapping tools, or document-management systems.
  • Strong stakeholder-management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills for all organizational levels.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, and change-management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build relationships, challenge constructively, and influence process and KPI owners at all levels.
  • Excellent project-management skills, including planning, implementation, benefits tracking, and follow-up.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities, review cycles, and improvement initiatives.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Proficient in Arabic preferred.
  • Professional certification in business excellence, quality management, process improvement, or performance management preferred.
