Assistant of Honey Establishment Operations
The Assistant of Honey Establishment Operations supports the day-to-day operational, administrative, and logistical activities of the honey establishment to ensure efficient apiary, honey production, processing, storage, distribution, and retail operations. The role assists in coordinating field activities, monitoring inventory, supporting procurement and logistics, maintaining operational records, and ensuring compliance with quality, food safety, environmental, and health and safety standards.
1. Operational Coordination
- Assist in coordinating daily operations across apiaries, honey processing facilities, warehouses, and retail outlets.
- Support the implementation of operational plans and production schedules.
- Coordinate communication between field teams, production staff, logistics, and management.
- Monitor daily operational activities and report issues requiring management attention.
2. Production Support
- Assist in planning honey harvesting, extraction, processing, packaging, and storage activities.
- Monitor production progress to ensure schedules are achieved.
- Support quality control activities throughout the production process.
- Ensure operational procedures are followed consistently.
3. Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Monitor inventory levels of honey products, packaging materials, beekeeping equipment, and consumables.
- Coordinate stock replenishment requests with the procurement team.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for honey and related products.
4. Logistics & Distribution
- Coordinate the movement of honey products, equipment, and supplies between apiaries, warehouses, customers, and retail locations.
- Assist in scheduling deliveries and transportation activities.
- Track shipments and ensure timely distribution.
- Support logistics documentation and delivery records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, Agriculture, Food Science, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience within the agriculture, food production, FMCG, or honey industry is preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in operations, production, logistics, warehouse management, or administrative support.
