Lifting Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Lifting Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all lifting operations on construction sites. The successful candidate will ensure that lifting activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with project specifications and HSE regulations. The role requires strong technical knowledge of lifting practices, supervision of rigging teams, and the ability to manage critical lifts in a construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all lifting and rigging operations on site.
- Ensure lifting activities comply with approved lifting plans and method statements.
- Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and site engineers.
- Verify lifting equipment certifications and inspection records.
- Conduct toolbox talks related to lifting operations.
- Monitor safe work practices and enforce HSE standards.
- Review and approve lifting plans prior to execution.
- Report incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Requirements
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in lifting operations within construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of lifting procedures, rigging practices, and safety standards.
- Ability to supervise and manage lifting crews.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Relevant lifting certification (preferred).
