Pastry Chef
A pastry chef is a culinary professional who specializes in preparing desserts and baked goods such as cakes, pastries, breads, cookies, and plated desserts. He should focus on recipe development, precise measurements, baking techniques, and presentation.
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Head Bakery & Pastry Chef to lead and elevate our bakery and pastry operations. This role is ideal for a dynamic culinary leader with a refined eye for product design, finishing excellence, and premium visual presentation.
The successful candidate will drive product innovation while ensuring consistency, quality, and operational excellence across daily production. A strong understanding of how presentation enhances brand identity — including experience contributing to social media content — is essential.
Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, this position combines creative leadership with hands-on operational management.
Lead bakery and pastry product development, innovation, and seasonal menu creation.
Oversee daily production to ensure consistent premium quality and presentation standards.
Maintain exceptional finishing and detailing across all products.
Manage, train, and develop the bakery and pastry team.
Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards.
Monitor efficiency, cost control, and operational performance.
Support brand positioning through visually impactful product presentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a leadership role within a high-quality bakery or pastry operation.
- Proven expertise in product design, finishing techniques, and visual presentation.
- Strong team leadership and production management skills.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Solid understanding of quality control, consistency, and operational standards.
