Leads and manages quality control activities across construction and fabrication projects, ensuring all work complies with project specifications, relevant codes, and client requirements. Develops inspection and test plans (ITPs), monitors site activities, and ensures that non-conformities are identified, documented, and resolved promptly.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related engineering discipline.
5-7 years’ QC experience in construction or fabrication projects, with UAE/GCC exposure preferred.
Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, AWS, API, ISO).
Certifications such as CSWIP 3.1, AWS CWI, ASNT Level II (RT, UT, MT, PT) are advantageous.
Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.
- Prepare, review, and implement inspection and testing plans in line with project requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate NDT, welding inspections, material verification, and dimensional checks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as ISO 9001, ASME, AWS, or API.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients on quality-related matters.
- Maintain inspection records, quality reports, and documentation for audit purposes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide guidance to QC inspectors.
