The Sales Engineer combines technical expertise with sales skills to promote and sell complex products or services in the KSA market. This role involves understanding client requirements, preparing detailed technical proposals, delivering product demonstrations, and offering customized solutions that align with customer needs. Effective communication and problem-solving abilities are essential to build trust, close sales, and drive revenue growth.
In addition to direct client engagement, the Sales Engineer collaborates with engineering and product teams to ensure accurate technical information and support throughout the sales process. They monitor market trends, assess competitor activities, and identify emerging opportunities to contribute to strategic sales planning and market expansion.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Sales, or a related field
5+ years of proven experience in technical sales within the KSA or GCC markets
Strong technical understanding of relevant products or systems
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to translate technical specifications into customer benefits
Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite
Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset
Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
