The Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of complex energy projects, ensuring they meet technical, financial, and schedule requirements. This role coordinates multidisciplinary teams across drilling operations, pipeline construction, or facility upgrades while maintaining strict compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Responsibilities include developing project scopes, managing multi-million-dollar budgets, and mitigating risks in challenging environments—from offshore platforms to remote desert sites. Whether managing EPC contracts or overseeing equipment commissioning, the Project Manager’s leadership ensures projects are completed safely, on time, and within specifications while meeting stakeholder expectations.
Serving as the primary liaison between engineering teams, contractors, and corporate stakeholders, the Project Manager aligns project execution with business objectives. The position requires expertise in project controls, including schedule optimization (Primavera P6), cost forecasting, and change management for large-scale capital projects. The professional resolves technical and logistical challenges while enforcing quality standards and regulatory requirements (API, ISO, OSHA). The ability to balance operational demands with strategic priorities makes this role instrumental in delivering critical energy infrastructure that meets both technical specifications and business performance targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
- 8+ years of project management experience in the energy sector (oil & gas, renewables, or power generation)
- Proven track record delivering large-scale EPC or capital projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations (API, ISO, OSHA)
- Proficiency in project control tools (Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in remote or challenging environments
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred
