- 1-3 years of experience as a mechanic in oilfield, industrial, or heavy equipment environments
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing pumps, compressors, engines, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering diagrams
- Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools and precision repair techniques
- Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance with industry standards (OSHA, API, manufacturer guidelines)
- Physical ability to work in extreme environments and confined spaces while wearing PPE
- Specialized training or certifications in diesel engines, turbine systems, or rotating equipment (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in high-stakes situations
