The Head Kitchen Steward oversees the kitchen sanitation team to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in kitchen and food preparation areas. They manage stewarding staff, coordinate cleaning schedules, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. The role supports the kitchen team by maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and schedule kitchen stewarding staff
  • Ensure cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
  • Manage waste disposal and recycling procedures
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and kitchen tools
  • Enforce hygiene and safety regulations
  • Coordinate with kitchen management on sanitation needs
  • Prior experience in kitchen stewarding or cleaning supervision
