The Field Service Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing specialized equipment and machinery at client locations. They troubleshoot technical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely according to manufacturer specifications. The engineer liaises with clients to provide training, technical support, and timely solutions to minimize downtime and enhance performance.
In addition to hands-on service, the Field Service Engineer documents maintenance activities, reports on equipment status, and collaborates with engineering and support teams to improve service processes. Strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication are essential to delivering reliable field support and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or related field)
5+ years of proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar technical service role
Strong knowledge of specialized equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
Proficiency in diagnostic tools and testing equipment
Excellent client-facing and communication skills
Willingness to travel frequently within KSA and internationally if required
