The Field Service Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing specialized equipment and machinery at client sites across Cairo, Egypt. This includes troubleshooting technical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently in accordance with manufacturer specifications. The role also involves training clients on proper equipment usage, providing technical support, and delivering solutions that minimize downtime and improve performance.
Beyond hands-on service, the Field Service Engineer documents all maintenance activities, reports on equipment condition, and works closely with engineering and support teams to enhance service quality and processes. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and exceptional communication skills to ensure reliable field support and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or related field)
7+ years of experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of specialized equipment
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment operation standards
Ability to train clients and provide clear technical guidance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel to client locations as required
Experience working in Egypt or similar regional environments preferred
