The Demi Chef supports the Chef De Partie by preparing and cooking food within a specific kitchen section. This mid-level position involves more responsibility than a Commi Chef and requires skill development, supervising junior staff, and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook dishes within designated section
  • Assist Chef De Partie in managing kitchen station
  • Train and guide junior kitchen staff
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations
  • Help with stock control and kitchen organization
  • Culinary qualification or equivalent experience
  • 3–5 years kitchen experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good organizational and leadership skills
