We are seeking a qualified and experienced Construction Manager to oversee pipeline construction projects from planning through execution. The role includes managing site operations, coordinating with contractors and engineering teams, and ensuring project compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. This position requires expertise in pipeline installation (oil, gas, water, or utility) and strong leadership in field execution.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Pipeline Engineering or equivalent.
8+ years of experience in pipeline construction, including at least 3 in a supervisory role.
Strong technical knowledge of pipeline construction methods, welding, and testing standards.
Proven ability to manage large-scale infrastructure projects and multidisciplinary teams.
Strong understanding of HSE standards and pipeline safety regulations.
Excellent planning, coordination, and reporting skills.
Familiarity with GIS, AutoCAD, and pipeline route planning tools is a plus.
Willingness to work in remote or field locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of pipeline construction activities, including trenching, welding, coating, laying, and hydrotesting.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, HSE, and QA/QC teams to meet project requirements.
- Monitor site progress, resources, and productivity to ensure timely project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and local regulations.
- Manage subcontractor performance and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
- Identify and resolve technical or logistical site challenges proactively.
- Uphold safety and environmental protocols across all project activities.
