The Chef De Partie is responsible for running a specific section of the kitchen, such as grill, sauces, or pastry. They ensure dishes from their section are prepared according to recipe standards, maintain hygiene, and manage junior cooks. The role demands excellent culinary skills, time management, and coordination within the kitchen team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dishes within designated kitchen section
  • Ensure quality, taste, and presentation meet standards
  • Train and supervise commis chefs or junior staff
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station
  • Monitor stock and assist with ordering ingredients
  • Follow health and safety regulations
  • Culinary arts diploma or equivalent
  • 3–5 years kitchen experience including a junior chef role
  • Strong culinary and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork
