The Business Development Manager (BDM) – Renewable identifies and pursues new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector by developing strategic partnerships and fostering client relationships. They conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and create proposals to secure projects aligned with sustainable energy goals. The role involves negotiating contracts and collaborating with technical and project teams to align business objectives with market demands.
In addition to driving sales growth, the BDM monitors competitor activity, participates in industry events, and supports marketing initiatives to enhance the company’s presence in the renewable energy market. This position requires a results-oriented professional with strong communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills to successfully expand the client base and achieve long-term business growth.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Renewable Energy, or related field
Proven experience in business development within the renewable energy sector
Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and market trends
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Ability to develop and execute growth strategies
Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and presentation tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events
