The Breakfast Chef is responsible for preparing breakfast dishes in hotels, restaurants, or catering establishments. They ensure food is prepared efficiently, meets quality standards, and is presented attractively. The role involves managing a breakfast kitchen section, coordinating with other kitchen staff, and maintaining hygiene and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Culinary diploma or equivalent experience
Previous experience as a breakfast or cook chef
Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Ability to work early shifts and under pressure
Teamwork and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook breakfast menu items such as eggs, pancakes, and pastries
- Ensure consistency and quality in food preparation
- Manage food stock and notify kitchen management of shortages
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
- Supervise junior kitchen staff and assist in training
- Collaborate with other chefs to coordinate meal service
