The Accounting Clerk performs essential clerical and administrative duties to support the finance department, including processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and managing data entry for accounts payable and receivable. Working under the guidance of senior accounting staff, the clerk ensures accuracy in recording transactions and assists in preparing financial documents for reporting and compliance purposes. Beyond routine bookkeeping, the Accounting Clerk liaises with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies, monitors expense reports, and supports the preparation of documentation for audits and financial reviews. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software to maintain efficient and accurate financial operations.
  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of solid experience in a similar accounting or administrative role preferred
  • Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong numerical and data entry skills with high accuracy
  • Good organizational and time management abilities
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with vendors and internal teams
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
